She has more than 18 years’ working experience in business development, trade and investment promotion and operations. She worked for 3 foreign governments i.e. Australia’s Victorian Government as Significant Investment Migration Director, Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Korea/KOTRA) as Investment and Research Manager and Invest Hong Kong as Consultant.
She was Director, Special Projects, Business Council Secretariat for the leading think tank Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI). She previously led the Malaysia-Indonesia Business Council and Malaysia-Turkey Business Council, Malaysia-Thailand Business Council secretariat to facilitate trade and investments and business partnership with respective countries. She had also organised a number of focused business and investment missions to these countries.
She led the CEO and Chairman Membership Programmes to provide insights, thought leadership and up-to-date objective information to CEO members who participate in close-door dialogues. Frank, candid interchanges with Cabinet Ministries, Ambassadors and thought leaders help business leaders with their strategic business plans and decision-making. These Membership Programmes provide a Voice for Business and a link between the public and private sectors. Members obtain better understanding of the impact of major trends and strategic issues on business and investments.
She started her career with an aerospace and aviation government link company, Composite Technology Research Malaysia, responsible for business development to bring in new businesses to the group.
She is a subcommitte, Training for NAWEM National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM), member of Malaysia Australia Business Council, Malaysia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce.
