Australia Visitor Visa ETA Visa rejected, what to do?
Lots of news relates to Malaysians overstay in Australia……
Lately, lots of Malaysians applied for ETA but been rejected specially students who studying at the tertiary education.
Please do not finalise flights or travel commitments until you have a visa to travel to Australia.
If you ETA been rejected, 2 options available
Option 1: Email further information to the Department of Home Affairs
If your online application for an ETA was not approved, you will need to send further information by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please follow the instructions at https://malaysia.highcommission.gov.au/klpr/ETA.html#High%20Commission.
At least 2-4 weeks to hear results. Some cases almost 2 months.
Option 2: You can quickly apply for subclass 600 application and provide all the supporting documents which cover proof:
1) holiday arrangement which include flight ticket, hotel booking, your arrangement etc
2) financial which include bank statement, payslip
3) solid reason to show she will return to Malaysia of which include letter of leave approval etc if she is under employment etc.

Processing time is about 18 days to 27 days.
